L4-SLOX-PR 18” assault rifle replica by Taiwanese LONEX company is a continuation of a significant step forward in the evolution of AEG replicas started earlier by Lonex with L4-SF replicas. Due to the used innovative solutions it was finally possible to mimic the experience of using a GBBR (gas blow-back recoil) type replica in an AEG type replica. In short, LONEX was able to create an electric assault rifle replica which with its recoil system measures up to GBBR replicas.
The replica was made from high quality materials with the utmost care for details. Polymer used for manufacturing of the stock (with rubber stock pad finish), flip-up iron sights, hand guard lining and pistol grip is truly massive and durable. Outer structure - the receiver, magazine, accessory rails, hand guard and stock slide were all made from metal.
The receiver fits very well together, when pressed it does not squeak and the entire skeleton is very stiff without loose spots even in the place where it meets the hand guard.
The replica is equipped with a multi-position stock and flip-up iron sights included in the set enable their usage with any optical aiming devices such as a reflex sight or a tactical scope.
The greatest asset of this replica is undoubtedly the recoil simulation system located inside the stock slide. This system consists of springs, an inertia element and a system that transfers energy from the piston to the inertia element. The experience offered by the implementation of this solution cannot be compared with anything else offered so far by other serial manufacturers of AEG replicas. LONEX can also easily operate without it.
After pulling back the bolt carrier, the user gains access to Hop-Up BB spin adjustment system. This process is further simplified by the usage of an operational bolt-catch mechanism that locks the bolt carrier in rear position.
An important fact is that due to certain construction differences resulting from the implementation of Blow Back system, the replica is to a large degree compliant with the V.2 standard set by TM. It is also important to note that the replica uses standard magazines based on STANAG standard.
